Life at the Mood

Here's a glimpse of life at The Mood. Come experience for yourself.

GETTING YOUR BEARINGS

When in Hong Kong, stay Central - the city’s financial and banking district, home to the government headquarters, abounding with refined retail and the city’s transport hub. It’s convenient living personified.

  • Lyndhurst Terrace

Home to The Mood’s flagship property, Lyndhurst Terrace is a charming street that bridges the Central financial district and the trendy SoHo area. Also on number 38, be sure to check out one of the most iconic specialty coffee shop, Blue Bottle Coffee.

  • Hollywood Road

Hollywood has it all. Whether you’re in the market for antiques or modern art, exploring historical sites or discovering artisans and young Hong Kong brands at the Police Married Quarters (fondly known as PMQ), Hollywood Road’s offerings are constantly changing. There’s no shortage of trendy eateries and watering holes on the Hollywood Road and its surrounding streets.

  • Chancery Lane

A stone’s throw from the bustle of Lan Kwai Fong and Hollywood Road, Chancery Lane is a charming pedestrian street, with a mix of homes, chic cafes plus a sprinkling of art galleries. Chancery Lane is one of Hong Kong’s hidden secrets and home to The Mood Soho.

  • Mid-Levels Escalator

The Mid-Levels Escalator (longest covered escalator in the world) will take you up from Queen’s Road Central to Hollywood Road, then Soho (where there’s lots of casual cafes and fun eateries on Staunton/ Elgin street) and onto Conduit Road. The escalator runs downhill from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and uphill from 10:30am to midnight.

  • Landmark

The cluster of skyscrapers that tower over the Landmark shopping mall sits at the heart of the Central financial district. There’s plenty of refined retail and fine dining within the square block. It sits above the Central MTR station which has transport links to the rest of HK.

  • IFC

Either a short taxi ride or a stroll downhill on the Mid-Levels Escalator from The Mood Lyndhurst or The Mood Soho, IFC is home to an abundance of offices and a shopping complex with cinemas, brands, and restaurants galore. Also home to the Airport Express which whisks you away to the airport in just 24 minutes.
